CCPIO provides our members and the courts they serve with support and educational resources to enhance effective communications programs and practices.
CCPIO hosts remote and in-person meetings and educational events year-round. In addition, members of CCPIO have access to a forum for posing questions, asking for ideas or guidance, and sharing problems and ideas related to good communications practices. CCPIO works with the Conference of Chief Justices, the Conference of State Court Administrators, and the National Center for State Courts to achieve these goals. Our Mission CCPIO’s mission is to provide a forum for court communicators to exchange ideas, information, and best practices in educating diverse audiences about the value of the courts and the rule of law. |

Professional Meetings We hold annual meetings at different sites around the country. These professional development opportunities place an emphasis on the specific issues that confront today's court Public Information Officers (PIOs). Hands-on problem solving, professional advancement and development and networking are the focus of the annual meeting sessions. National Partnerships We partner with the National Judicial College for training to ensure the judiciary has well-trained communicators who can help bolster public trust and confidence in the courts. We also work closely with the National Center for State Courts, which is our nation's leading resource center for state courts. Consultation and Collaboration We provide free access to real-time workspace and the collective wisdom and expertise of court communicators from around the country available to answer question, exchange ideas, offer support, and discuss tips, tools and trends to help you excel.
